In the spirit of lifelong learning, the weekend began with several speakers on the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 14. A reception at Cheseapeake’s seafood restaurant in Knoxville followed. Before the Vols football game with Kentucky on Nov. 15, the college hosted a tailgate on the Haslam building’s terrace, complete with cash bar and a bluegrass band.

Drew Everett of Bush Brothers and Company lead an informal discussion with the group regarding company culture, specifically the emphasis Bush Brothers places on creating and retaining culture and its effects on the company. David Keith spoke about his roots at UT and explained the nature and philosophy of his philanthropic endeavors.
There were 10 alumni in attendance, including representatives from Radio Systems, Corp., Kimble-Chase LLC, ABT Molecular Imaging, Premier HR Management Solutions and Calsonic Kansei North America. The college hopes to continue this tradition and that it will grow in the coming years.
