The Vol Court spring 2013 program will run through March 12. The workshops will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesdays in Room 102 of the James A. Haslam Business Building.
The UT Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, housed in the UT College of Business Administration, is hosting the program. Vol Court will offer students, UT employees and the community the opportunity to learn from entrepreneurs and business experts about the essentials of getting a company off the ground.
Workshop presenters are from various organizations throughout Tennessee, and all have experience with entrepreneurial companies.
The March 12 session will include a pitch competition in which the top presenting individual or team will win $1,000 and the second-place team will win $500. Students attending Vol Court will have the opportunity to better prepare themselves for the upcoming campus-wide Undergraduate Business Plan Competition.
