UT Congratulates Business Alums Welcomed into Knoxville Business Journal’s 40 under 40

Rising_StarsEvery year since 2007, the Knoxville Business Journal has recognized 40 individuals younger than 40 who are achieving success in their careers and contributing significantly to their communities.

Fourteen of this year’s honorees are alums of the College of Business Administration. These distinguished individuals—each forging his or her own path to success—are listed alphabetically below.

  7. Kevin Mead, vice president of investor relations and planning, Regal Entertainment Group ( 2002 accounting, 2003 Master of Accountancy)
  8. Michelle Park , distributor sales manager, MillerCoors (2006 marketing, 2012 Professional MBA)
  9. Jonathan Patrick, senior vice president of lending, UT Federal Credit Union (1995 marketing)
  10. Jennifer Sepaniak, chief financial officer, Schaad Companies (1996 accounting, 1997 Master of Accountancy)
  11. Brian Strong, CEO, Vendor Registry (2000 finance)
  12. Jaime Varner, controller, Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance (1999 accounting, 2003 Professional MBA)
