UT MBA Students Participate in Fall 2011 Supply Chain Forum

KNOXVILLE, TN — First and second-year MBA students, as well as selected undergraduate supply chain management majors, in the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Business Administration participated in the college’s Fall 2011 Supply Chain Forum. With more than 150 executives attending from the forum’s 48 organizational sponsors, UT’s forum is the largest supply chain forum in the academic world.

For nearly two decades, UT’s top-ranked supply chain management program has hosted this U.S.-based forum for corporate leaders, professors, and students to share ideas about the latest supply chain issues. Held twice a year, the three-day forum includes presentations, breakout sessions, and networking receptions.

A natural outgrowth of this U.S.-based forum is UT’s new Global Supply Chain Forum, launched June 2011 in Paris, France, in partnership with top-ranked ESSEC Business School. Similar in structure to the U.S. forum, these international forums enable members from multiple industries and locations and a global faculty to focus on worldwide and region-specific supply chain issues.
